Author Bio

Samantha "Sam" Garvey has been an educator in Wisconsin for the past 20 years.  Sam is currently a Library Media Specialist in the Deerfield Community School District.  She's also taught in the Hartland and Princeton, WI School Districts.  Her passion for creating positive connections for residents in her community and a love of literacy led her to the Little Free Library organization in the Spring of 2012.  Sam and her husband, Mike, enjoy spending family time with their two children and attending their various extra-curricular activities.  In her free time, Sam also enjoys gardening, flying kites, hanging out at the lake, and going to WI Badger football and Green Bay Packer games.
